Really getting feathers now. Suddenly getting his proper feathers through which you can see in the following photos. They are the brown ones near his wings. They are also coming through on his tail and under his wings but they are not visible at the moment.

Hello,
ReplyDeletedid you know that you get into all sorts of trouble when you take feathers off a bird?
I didn't know that either but I found out yesterday when Rosie,Dylan and I plucked a pheasant.
My boss was not too happy and the pheasant didn't appreciate it much either judging by the way he ran off afterwards.
I never pluck ducks though, they are just not as interesting as pheasants so I mostly ignore them.
What is your duck called?
Diesel.
Thats good information to know Diesel, thanks. I am not allowed near this duck at the moment. He is either in his crate or me in mine. It isn't fair that I know have to share mum's attention.
ReplyDeleteDuckling is called Tuesday.
Licks Ziggi
Wow, I never knew a duck could be clicker trained. Well done Anna. He is very cute indeed.
